JOSH: Driving Social Change and Empowering Communities
At JOSH, we believe in the power of people to create lasting change. As a dedicated non-profit organization, we work at the grassroots level to uplift communities, empower youth, champion gender justice, and expand access to quality education. Our efforts are deeply rooted in the slums and resettlement colonies of Trilokpuri, East Delhi, and across three districts in Uttar Pradesh. By collaborating with communities, we strive to break barriers and build a more just and inclusive society.

Gender Justice: A Safe and Equitable Society for All
Gender discrimination and violence are deep-rooted issues that continue to affect millions of women. JOSH actively works to challenge gender inequality by empowering women with knowledge, support, and access to justice. Our Mahila Panchayat Centre, supported by the Delhi Commission for Women, provides a safe space where women can report gender-based violence and receive legal and emotional assistance. Through advocacy and intervention, we help women reclaim their rights and build a safer, more inclusive society.

We also work with schools and communities to make education more inclusive. So far, we’ve reached over 2.5 lakh children across India.
For young women, we offer skill training, career guidance, and job placements—helping them become financially independent. With a 90% placement rate, more than 10,000 girls are stepping into brighter futures with confidence.
