Improving access to school education

As part of this program, JOSH has been working in 20 government schools in East Delhi. The work entails working with school authorities and the community of parents to monitor implementation of the RTE Act. JOSH’s work covers- mobilization of the community on issues affecting the school and the children, conducting training and capacity building sessions for parents and School Management Committee members, regular hand holding of the school authorities to facilitate better delivery of education at the school level and making school visits. JOSH adopted an EDMC school in Trilokpuri. Various things were donated to the school like Projector, Tubelights, Fans, Softboards, books for students.
