Isha is 23 and has always taken care of her younger siblings. She joined JOSH through a skill-building program but doubted herself in the beginning. She didn’t think she had the confidence to be a leader.
Everything changed when she joined a theatre workshop with Ms. Shilpi Marwaha. That one workshop helped her find her voice. Soon, she was out in the community with Husna, talking to people, identifying issues, and working on real solutions—like poor sanitation in their area. Isha even met local leaders during the Delhi Assembly elections to raise the problems of her block.
Today, Isha is a bold and active volunteer. She never misses a chance to take part and help others speak up. Her confidence grew with every step she took, and now she helps others grow, too.
